How to configure mail in a HTC One (M8)

All HTC devices with the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat)| upgradable to 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system come by default with an email application with which you can both receive and send email messages.

Before starting the email setup on your One (M8) make sure you have the following information:

Email address (example@gmail.com)
Password.

1- First step:

Select the type of account you want to configure in your HTC One (M8), IMAP or POP.

When you set up an IMAP account in your One (M8) you keep a copy of the emails in the cloud, that is, in the mail server.
